Alba Sarraute (Argentona, 1982) is a clown, contemporary circus artist and stage creator.
She trained at the Académie de Cirque Contemporain Fratellini (Paris) and at the Rogelio Rivel Circus School in Barcelona. For more than twenty years, she has developed a personal artistic path at the crossroads of contemporary circus, physical theatre and visual dramaturgy, with creations presented in theatres, festivals and public spaces at both national and international levels.
She is currently the director of the Trapezi Circus Festival in Reus and collaborates with municipalities, festivals and creation spaces on scenic projects and dramaturgical accompaniment processes.
Her work has been recognised with several awards and distinctions, including the National Culture Award of Catalonia.
