DRAMATURGY ACCOMPANIMENT
Dramaturgy is the study of drama and its tensions.
It observes what happens, what is not said, what is hidden beneath action, and what moves the scene.
Every work of art holds a secret it needs to reveal; dramaturgy accompanies the process of making it visible without stripping it of its mystery.
I accompany creation processes in circus and performing arts through a deep dramaturgical groundwork prior to stage creation.
This dramaturgical accompaniment is carried out online and is designed to take place before rehearsals begin, when the project is still living matter and needs clarity, meaning and structure.
The aim is for the creation not to begin from confusion or the accumulation of ideas, but from a solid base of thought, desire and artistic necessity.
A PROCESS THAT BEGINS BEFORE THE STAGE
The accompaniment always starts with strong table work.
Before speaking about numbers, technique or scenes, we work on:

what the project wants to say
-
why it is necessary to create it
-
where the creative urgency comes from
-
and what kind of experience we want to provoke in the audience
Dramaturgy does not appear at the end to organise what has already been created, but at the beginning, to guide the entire process.
WORKING METHODOLOGY
The work is based on exercises of writing, reflection and analysis that allow the artist or company to:

access their deeper imaginary
-
identify real themes, dualities and obsessions
-
define the universe of the project
-
build a conscious dramatic structure
We work through:
-
free writing and associations
-
analysis of the theme and its contradictions
-
definition of the protagonist, their desire and obstacles
-
dramatic structure (beginning, middle, end)
-
emotional tension and character evolution
-
the relationship between what the character knows and what the audience knows
The methodology draws on classical dramaturgy (Aristotle) as a foundation, without imposing it as a closed form, allowing it to be consciously broken afterwards.

It is not about “intellectualising” circus, but about giving it a skeleton that can support risk, the body and poetics.

UN TREBALL QUE COMENÇA ABANS DE L'ESCENA
L'acompanyament s'inicia sempre d'una bona feina de taula.
Abans de parlar de números, tècnica o escenes, treballarem sobre:

què vol dir el projecte
-
perquè és necessari fer-lo
-
desde d'on neix l'urgència creativa
-
i quina experiència volem provecar en el públic
La dramatúrgia no sorgeix al final per ordenar allò creat, sino al inici per orientar tot el procés.
METODOLOGIA DE TREBALL
El treball es basa en exercicis d'escriptura, reflexió i anàlisi que permeten a l'artista o a la companyia:

accedir al seu imaginari profund

detectar temes, dualitats i obsessions reals

definir l'univers del projecte
-
i construir una estructura dramàtica conscient
Es treballa a partir de:

escriptura lliure i assossiacions
-
anàlisi del tema i les seves contradiccions
-
definició del protagonista, el seu desig i els seus obstacles
-
estructura dramàtica (inici, nus, desenllaç)
-
tensió emocional i evolució del personatge
-
relació entre el que sap el personaje i el que sap l'espectador
La metodologia es basa en la dramatúrgia clàssica (Aristòteles) com a base, sense imposar-la com a forma tancada, permetent després trencar-la amb consciència.
QUÈ APORTA AQUEST ACOMPANYAMENT
Aquest treball permet:

evitar bloqueigs llargs a sala

prendre decisions escèniques més coherents

construir un dossier sòlido des des de l'inici

No es tracta d'“intelectualitzar” el circ, sino de donar-li un esquelet que sostingui el risc, el cos i la poètica.
